The rose lace is American from the 1950s and called Point de Venice lace. Seamstresses would adorn the roses as a decorative trim on fancy dresses.

The name Alyce means ‘noble and elevated’. The name fits these earrings. Queens and noble women are known to have worn pearls and lace. These two materials have been royally acclaimed for centuries, and still have the same appeal today.
